Centrally situated in Rosendal by the Hardanger Fjord, this waterfront hotel offers a restaurant, bar and terrace with panoramic views. Incredible location, and easy to find and very friendly helpful staff.

Detta hotell ligger vid sjön Sandvevatnet i byn Odda, inte långt ifrån nationalparken Hardangervidda och glaciärparken Folgefonna. Breakfast was super good. Very good coffee, bread, salmon and meat, and home made jams. The location is great in case you also have an activity booked with Trolltunga Active. The meetings happen the day before your activity inside this hotel so that is very convenient. You can also walk over a bridge and along the lake. The views are stunning. You can walk from the hotel into town but it's a little hilly. We booked a triple room which was very spacious and this one had his own private bathroom which was super spacious as well. We booked a double room with sharing bathroom and that was a good option as well. In the morning, it was only a 20 min drive up to Parking A nearby Trolltunga Active store and starting point for the Overnight Trolltunga hike.

It was probably the cleanest place we stayed at, also very confortable and cosy, felt like a home immediately. Gea was also so nice to greet us and so patient with our hyperactive dog! The location is perfect, with the sea just steps away and views over the water from all windows, also perfectly placed to watch the sunset. Hope we'll come again!
