Centered between Hamar, Lillehammer and Gjøvik, and within a small car drive to everything we wanted to visit. Compared to hotels around the area and cities mentioned above, the room you get for the price can't be compared. Surprisingly great value.

Located in Biri on the shores of Lake Mjøsa, Honne Hotell and Konferansesenter has a dining hall overlooking the lake. Part of a conference centre high above a valley. Great walks in the area and a good breakfast.

I’ve stayed here a few times before and have always enjoyed my stays…which is why I stayed here again. For a light sleeper the sound proofed rooms, blackout blinds and comfy bed mean I sleep just as well as at home. As always I received very friendly and courteous service from the staff. The location is of course fantastic up on the hill with 360degree views.

Kongsvinger Budget Hotel is located in Kongsvinger and offers views of Glomma River, free WiFi and free parking. Each room comes with a TV and a bathroom with shower. Modern, clean, free coffee and tea, lovely lounge area. We were traveling as a family of six. We booked 2 separate rooms and it was the perfect amount of room for our brief stay. Beds were super comfy, water was nice and hot!

Skistar Lodge Trysil is located 800 Meters above sea level in Fageråsen,Trysil. Norway’s largest Ski Resort. Trysil are also a well-known bicycling area during summer. All the facilities where fantastic hotel staff couldn't do enough and location was so beautiful and very excellent access to the slopes definitely would visit again.

This Grue Region guest house is in the village of Kirkenær. The Finnskogen forest area is 14 km away. Skaslien Hotel & Guesthouse offers free WiFi, an on-site restaurant and en-suite guest rooms. Breakfast and dinner were great.

Situated on Hamar’s main street Torggata, Clarion Collection Hotel Astoria offers free WiFi, a complimentary light evening buffet and rooms with satellite TV. Bed was sooo comfortable in the king superior room Dinner was delicious and there were enough options to choose something. Cannot complain since it is included in the price Cappuccino machine available Free parking on the street between 5 pm - 9 am. Otherwise need to pay the meter or put it in a parking garage Unfortunately the city was badly affected by the flooding so there wasn’t much activity happening.
