Located right at the edge, 1002 meters above sea level, is Skarsnuten Hotel. The hotel has a panoramic view of Hemsedal and with Hemsedal ski center as the nearest neighbor. Everything about this hotel was A M A Z I N G. The views, the food, the SPA!!!, the staff. I could never imagine that the quality of everything would’ve been that high. It’s so price worthy & it’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed at. I have no words. It’s magical in every way. The view from the restaurant (the view from anywhere in this hotel) was insane. I am definitely coming back! (Also the most comfortable bed EVER!!!!!) can’t recommend this enough 🥹❤️❤️❤️❤️

Surrounded by high, dramatic mountains, this cosy, family-run hotel in central Hemsedal has 2 restaurants, free parking and free WiFi throughout the property. An absolutely amazing stay! Thank you, Tomas, for facilitating my stay and always helping out with advice and other tourist matters. The room and property itself - amazing and exceeded expectations so much. The lobby/lounge as well as the room are obviously very recently renovated. In terms of the room, there's an amazing view and an extremely comfortable bed. Plenty of staff that maintain the property very well, for example, rooms/sheets are cleaned everyday. Before coming, my main concern was that the room is located above a bar, but that wasn't an issue, as you couldn't hear the music at all (Except for Saturday I think, but it was manageable). In terms of the breakfast - also superb, Swedish buffet with a lot of options to choose from.

Located by the river in Hemsedal, only 200 m from cross-country skiing tracks, this hotel offers en-suite rooms, free parking and a free ski bus to the nearby alpine slopes. I've arrived the hotel around an hour earlier that the advertised checkin time, yet the staff were still welcoming me, and upgraded my room to a much bigger room with spectacular view for free. Bonus on that they gave me a 10% discount on the pizzeria restaurant next to them.
