Scenically set by the Oppstrynsvatnet Fjord, the family-owned Hjelle Hotel rests in a lush garden surrounded by mountains. Jostedalsbreen National Park is 5 km away. This was one of our favourite stays on our Norway road trip. The feel of the hotel is "old fashioned" but just lovely. And the view from our room was just stunning. We also loved our evening meal and walk around the grounds. It's not a 5* chain hotel but we loved the more personal feel about it.

Hotel Alexandra Loen is located in Stryn and offers majestic views of the surrounding mountains and fjords. The family-run hotel and offers free WiFi and parking. Loen Skylift is a 5-minute walk away.... The location and amenities. The buffet breakfasts and dinners were amazing.

This hotel is scenically situated within 7 km of the Nigardsbreen Glacier and the Jostedalsbreen Glacier National Park. It features free Wi-Fi, bright rooms and an on-site restaurant with bar. lovely and welcoming! delicious food!

This family-run hotel from 1937 is located in Fjærland Village, on the waterfront of the Sognefjord. It offers a large terrace that overlooks the fjord. Many times we are all looking for an “authentic experience”. Fjaerland Fjordstove hotel is a rare manifestation of an authentic home and staff called an hotel. It’s a real gem. Beautiful house located a few meters from the fjord, decorated with restored local furniture sets the ambiance and Inna and her staff fill it with stories that made our stay a perfect one. Don’t miss the talk just before dinner. It’s both amusing and enlightening.

Located in Briksdalsbre, Melkevoll Bretun Camping features accommodation with seating area. This holiday home provides air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. Everything! Probably the most beautiful location we have stayed at in Norway!

Located in Olden, Olden Fjord Apartments offers free WiFi and units equipped with a kitchen and seating area. The apartment is perfect, the view of Nordfjord is stunning and the owners, Cecilie and her husband, are very kind. Besides all of that, we were blessed by Northern Lights in the last night, and Cecilie went to our apartment to notify us; otherwise we would have missed the amazing natural show.

Olden Camping offers accommodation with stunning views of the fjord in Olden. Geiranger is 46 km from the property. Free private parking and free WiFi are available on site. What a charming getaway cabin! We absolutely loved everything about it! The location, the layout of the space, the view from the deck, the thoughtful decorations, the modern kitchen, the coziness and cleanliness of it all....it was our favorite stay during our trip to Norway! Would highly recommend to couples, and small families visiting this stunning region of Norway.

Rødseter Gjestegård is a working farm, peacefully located in the countryside of Fjarland and offers views of the impressive, surrounding mountains. Super friendly host, large room and the area is amazing.
