Located in Stryn, 50 km from The Old Strynefjell Mountain Road, Lodgen Stryn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Such a nice place to stay! Very friendly atmosphere, perfect cleanliness everywhere, comfy common spaces, beautiful garden, small but cozy rooms. It was our first experience of staying in accommodation with shared bathroom and kitchen, I was a bit worried if it would be convenient, but my worries were absolutely groundless. To be honest, I would rate this place higher than some 4 star hotels during our trip.

Scenically set by the Oppstrynsvatnet Fjord, the family-owned Hjelle Hotel rests in a lush garden surrounded by mountains. Jostedalsbreen National Park is 5 km away. This was one of our favourite stays on our Norway road trip. The feel of the hotel is "old fashioned" but just lovely. And the view from our room was just stunning. We also loved our evening meal and walk around the grounds. It's not a 5* chain hotel but we loved the more personal feel about it.

Hotel Alexandra Loen is located in Stryn and offers majestic views of the surrounding mountains and fjords. The family-run hotel and offers free WiFi and parking. Loen Skylift is a 5-minute walk away.... The location and amenities. The buffet breakfasts and dinners were amazing.

Housed in a 19th-century building by Stryn Bay, this hotel offers individually decorated rooms with private balconies and free WiFi access. Stryn centre is a short walk away. Outstanding in every way. Think of a large chain hotel and then think the opposite. The hotel has been run since 1850s but carefully renovated without removing the quaint old style vibe. From the moment you walk in it feels like home (as it has been in the last to Royalty). No issue for us, but there are only stairs so you will need to carry your bags up. Great drying room if you need it. The rooms are lovely - spotlessly clean, lovely little balcony and large bathroom/shower with excellent shower pressure. There is a super nice trail that runs from behind the hotel with lovely view along the way. Not very challenging but a lovely walk - maybe and hour is so up and back. Easy to get to more challenging hikes - just ask at reception. We did the walk to Raksetra (drive 10mins and maybe 90 mins round trip with spectacular views of the fjord from the top. The dinner we had was exceptional with service to match. Exceptional. Breakfast was also superb. Plenty of choice - Norwegian, freshly baked breads, if you want, eggs and bacon done just right and pastries, high quality condiments etc. We wish we could have stayed for longer.

This hotel is scenically situated within 7 km of the Nigardsbreen Glacier and the Jostedalsbreen Glacier National Park. It features free Wi-Fi, bright rooms and an on-site restaurant with bar. lovely and welcoming! delicious food!

This family-run hotel from 1937 is located in Fjærland Village, on the waterfront of the Sognefjord. It offers a large terrace that overlooks the fjord. Many times we are all looking for an “authentic experience”. Fjaerland Fjordstove hotel is a rare manifestation of an authentic home and staff called an hotel. It’s a real gem. Beautiful house located a few meters from the fjord, decorated with restored local furniture sets the ambiance and Inna and her staff fill it with stories that made our stay a perfect one. Don’t miss the talk just before dinner. It’s both amusing and enlightening.

This hotel is situated next to the Stryneelva River, in the year-round glacier skiing destination of Stryn. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi and free private parking. A very nice modern hotel in the heart of Stryn. As we drive an electric car, it was very nice to see not one, but several charging stations. We charged our car overnight (Has to be paid separately for a relatively low price) and enjoyed Stryn and its quaint small town charm. We did not have dinner here, but it sounded really good, even offering vegetarian options. The staff was very nice and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and had a large variety of options.
