I was immediately captivated by the view of the fjord, then stayed for the excellent food from the kitchen and the lovely staff. if I had the time I would have stayed for a week.

Set in a late 1800s wooden building, this countryside hotel is in Hindseter, 60 km from Otta. The hotel restaurant serves Nordic cuisine with local produce. The hotel is located in the middle of the Jotunheimen natural reserve park and has several hiking trips starting right outside the door. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the beer list is amazing and long, dinners are outstanding. This place is literally perfect!
