Falstadsenteret - Museum, minnested og senter for menneskerettigheter is offering accommodation in Levanger. This is the WW2 museum and the hotel. The hotel part is nice and comfortable, the staff is very nice and helpful but what you realy remmember is not the type of bed you slept on but the museum describing the Nazi atrocities. Good place to stay at.

Husfrua Gårdshotell has free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Straumen. Boasting room service, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. The estate is absolutely amazing! The beautifully redone, traditional house is a gem and one can feel the love that's hidden in every detail. The breakfast was lovely (although no special vegan options or plant milk was available, but i've been travelling norway for a while - so I know to come prepared). The house is on the premises of a working farm and you can look at the pigs and cows and enjoy the tranquility and views! right next door the oyna restaurant is an experience. I stayed in the mainhouse in a room with bathroom, there are also rooms with bathroom across the hall and it seems also some tiny homes. There is a little shop that offers local beer and some wine, which is open in the afternoon.

Just off the E6 motorway 3 km from Grong, Namsentunet hotel is a collection of traditional buildings on the banks of the Namsen river. Wake up to the babbling brook, enjoy the morning view with a good breakfast. I understand they have salmon fishing right off the back porch when it is the season for it. Very comfortable rooms, friendly staff.

Housed in a building from the early 1700s, Grong Gård Guesthouse offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and basic rooms with private bathrooms and showers. Grong town centre is 1.2 km away. The staff was superb. Had elggryte for dinner, which was excellent. They also brew their own Pilsner which is also good. Parking right at the property a bit off the highway. Will definitely come back, if I am in the area.
