When you come to Chitwan, your main purpose is to see the animals. Bishnu is the best for this purpose you can find in the area. He has been in the jungle since his very early years, he knows Chitwan better than I know my neighborhood. Plus he is an excellent manager and tries to do everything for you way and beyond. The food his wife is cooking is the best we ate in Nepal, since it's true home cooking. They are all very attentive to your needs. And we fulfilled the purpose: all kinds of deers, monkeys, birds, crocodile and the close encounter with the rhino! What we also liked is the location. It's the other part of Chitwan, far from the crowds and touts. The facilities are very simple, but it's expected. You have very comfortable beds with mosquito nets and hot water.

Boasting a garden, Hotel Peacock - Family Running Hotel is set in Sauraha and also provides a terrace and a bar. The staff at hotel Peacock was very friendly and supportive of our wishes. A great stay!

The owner and all the staff were really lovely and accommodating. I felt really looked after. My room was really lovely, bright and clean. It was also in a good location. The food was tasty in the hotel restaurant. The owner organises safari trips, so it made life really easy. It was all really good value for money. I went on a jeep safari and a full day trek and I saw lots of wildlife including 8 rhinos on the trek, which was amazing. The owner organised my bus to the next place I was visiting, he also arranged a tuk tuk for me to get to my bus and came with me in the tuk tuk to make sure I got my bus ok. He really made my stay a comfortable and easy one.

Price quality is pretty good the owner was very friendly and welcoming and helps me arranging the safari tours to Chitwan National Park. The pick up from the bus station was one of the best that you can used especially arriving from a long bus journey. The rooms were perfect plenty of space. Although I only got a fan room, believe me it is more satisfying, airconditioning wasn’t necessary. The wifi works very well inside the room so for bloggers looking for a perfect internet connection this is the place to be. The bathroom is huge as well with good shower and hot water. There’s a kettle inside the room, hangers and one free bottle of water. If you want the room to be clean up just left the key at the reception and when you come back everything is cleaned.

I have lunch and dinner here with reasonable price and taste good. The owner, Aasish is very kind and helpful. He picked me up and sent me to the bus station. Help to buy the bus ticket. Arrange jungle walk tour with 2 guides, Simba and Tilak. They are so knowledgeable and take care of me all the time during the safari. I am happy to stay in Hotel Happy Land. Hope to come back again.
