White Heron Motor Lodge is just 2 minutes' drive from the centre of Gisborne and 7 minutes' drive from the beach and the airport. Never stayed there before but would recommend it as a brilliant place to stay! It was better than the photos online lol. Great air con, Extremely clean, quiet and loads of space on the rooms. Price was very competitive and I’d be happy to pay more to stay there it exceeded my expectations. Thanks 🙏

Featuring a garden, Cedar House is located in Gisborne. This 4-star bed and breakfast offers free WiFi. All guest rooms at the bed and breakfast come with a seating area and a flat-screen TV. Beautiful , quiet house and room. Extremely comfortable bed and stylishly furnished room. Breakfast was high quality and eggs cooked to order. Jane is a wonderful host and recommended two great restaurants. We had a view of the river from our room Tolaga. The wine, coffee and snacks available in the guests kitchen made it extremely good value. Highly recommend

This was the nicest cottage with a wonderful view of the ocean, situated amid a lush green garden with succulents and orange trees. It is a large room with a fully equipped kitchen and all-round windows, bright and airy. The bathroom is private and in a separate building but just a covered short outdoor passageway from the cottage door, lit up at night. It also had a washing machine with detergent provided, which came in quite handy. the whole thing is very private, and we were only sorry that we only spent one night here. We would definitely come here again and hopefully spend more time.
