Just a 5-minute drive from the township of Haast, Heartland Hotel Haast is located in the region of South Westland, between the West Coast of New Zealand and the southern lakes districts. I liked that the hotel had a shelter to get to the dining room. Also, the hotel was near the beach and river.

I loved the water pressure. I had gotten injured prior to coming here and when I say the water pressure was like a deep tissue massage on my back. The room was really nice too. Great parking space. Susie at reception was so friendly and gave us great recommendations on where to eat supper and breakfast, as well as places to stop on our way out of town the next day!
