If you ever get a chance to stay at Rachael’s and Mark‘s place, do it. I came a second time from Germany and will return for a third one. For the private waterfall, the quirky and heartwarming handmade details all around the grounds, the nightsky, feeding trouts, hearing blue ducks, or the room with costumes, but most importantly for feeling this unique spot between nature and garden. It is so peaceful and quiet it is absolutely mind-boggling.

Situated in the heart of Tongariro National Park, Skotel Alpine Resort offers a restaurant, a hot tub and a terrace bar with a fireplace. Most accommodations boast stunning mountain or region views. Very good food in the restaurant, perfect to start hiking directly from the hotel, very cozy

Terletak di Ohakune, 19km dari Turoa, Snowman Cabins menawarkan penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma, teres dan restoran. Loved our cabin, absolutely spotlessly clean. We ate in the Thai restaurant at the cabins, food was gorgeous!

The Powderhorn Chateau is situated in Ohakune, at the entrance to Tongariro National Park. everything- staff- location - food!

Located in the Tongariro National Park, The Park Hotel Ruapehu offers affordable accommodation in a stunning alpine setting. Guests are provided with free parking and 500MB of free WiFi. The room was heated on arrival. Late check in, but greeted by friendly staff. Restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, warm fire, excellent service.

We were told on arrival that they were fully booked and the manager didn’t know how we were allowed to book the stay through Booking.com, we are so glad and grateful that the manager was able to shuffle some other guests around so we could have a room

Snowman Lodge and Spa is centrally located in the town centre of Ohakune which is the gateway to Ski Ruapehu, Turoa, Whakapapa and the famous Tongariro National Park. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel has a Thai restaurant which was outstanding! Location very central.

This host is very generous it is obvious they want you to feel at home and valued guests. Eggs, bread, plenty of cereals and fresh fruit, yoghurt etc. and then the extras to make you feel really at home. There’s no shops so the chocolate, chips and biscuits are a very thoughtful addition.we wil recommend and come stay again for sure.

Two Rivers Ohakune features free WiFi and views of mountain in Ohakune. The accommodation features ski storage space, a drying room and a hot tub. Guests can enjoy river views. Two rivers was amazing. The hot tub was the highlight after a day of skiing. Bed and breakfast was great too. Would definitely come back again if I visit Ohakune.
