Boasting stunning views of mountains, river and the valley, Bealey Hotel is within a 30-minute drive of 5 ski fields. It offers a restaurant, barbecue facilities and free on-site parking. Room was spacious, very clean and had an amazing view of snow-capped mountains. Beds were luxuriously comfortable. Everything was as new and in immaculate condition. Great for even the fussiest of people. The continental breakfast was much better than expected and included cold meats, cheese and boiled eggs as well as a wide range of cereal, with preserver fruit and yoghurt, not to mention coffee and a choice of several fruit juices.

Set in Darfield, 37 km from Orana Wildlife Park, Darfield Hotel offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. This 5-star hotel offers an ATM. Good basic accommodation.Theeals in the restaurant are great and we'll priced. Great helpful staff.

Situated in Lincoln, within 19 km of Christchurch Railway Station and 21 km of Christchurch Art Gallery, The Famous Grouse Hotel features accommodation with a restaurant and a bar, and free WiFi... Everyone was friendly and good to be around. My room was perfect for just me. The only thing that I had a "problem" with was carryiny my suitcase up the stairs.

It was a very cozy and clean place to stay, and the host was incredibly friendly. They even allowed me to check in earlier and check out later.

Boasting a patio with mountain views, a garden and barbecue facilities, Petes Place can be found in Arthur's Pass, close to Arthur's Pass Train Station and 700 metres from Arthur's Pass National Park.... Pete's Place really is the prettiest little house we have ever seen. The garden is beautiful and lovingly laid out; the interior is surprisingly modern and very tastefully furnished. We were all particularly impressed by the bathroom. The equipment was very good, we had all we needed. Everything is clean and in top condition. In our opinion, Pete's Place is the ideal accommodation for 2-3 people on site.

Featuring garden views, Rolleston Paradise-Master Bedroom with Ensuite Only provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 24 km from Christchurch Railway Station. It was one of the best stays we had in NZ. Very friendly owner, beautiful place, comfy bed, everything you need. A very lovely place to stay for a really good price.

The Nook, a property with an open-air bath, a garden and barbecue facilities, is located in Arthur's Pass, 1.4 km from Devils Punchbowl Falls, 4.9 km from Temple Basin, as well as 47 km from Broken... Great friendly host. Immediately made you feel welcomed. Apartment was well insulated and kept us warm all night through a really cold night. Got a fantastic toilet with a nice bath!

Located in Otira, 12 km from Devils Punchbowl Falls, Rata Lodge Accommodation provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The bedroom was so cozy with extra blankets, humidifier and heaters. Very homey.

Chester Oaks B&B has pool views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in West Melton, 15 km from Orana Wildlife Park. Jasmine and Michael are exceptionally welcoming, warm and great hosts. They open their entire home, which is spacious and beautiful to their guests. Jasmine delights in providing delicious breakfast, dinner and snacks- she is an accomplished cook. The location is convenient to Christchurch but rural and peaceful.
