Originally built in 1889, the heritage-listed Okoroire Hot Springs Hotel features an onsite hot spring bath, a 9-hole golf course and a tennis court. What a fantastic surprise this stay ended up being. We booked it during our travels for a quick place to stop at after visiting Hobbiton and on our way to Auckland without expecting much. However, the old world charm, the excellently maintained hot springs, and the delicious dinner were all great surprises.

Kea Motel & Holiday Park is situated in Putaruru. Among the various facilities of this property are barbecue facilities and a garden. Both private parking and free WiFi are accessible at the hotel. Clean all necessary things was there including dishes, Clean towels, paid laundry microwave, heating equipments. Best stay!

Built in 1952, Putaruru Hotel is located in Putaruru, in the heart of the Waikato Region. The building has art deco features and free private parking is available on site. Good location, very helpful and friendly staff! Have stayed here a few times for the night when doing big trips.

Sheep, cows and chickens wandering around. Lovely home with lot's of room in the kitchen, dining room and lounge room. Lovely decks outside the bedroom. Beautiful cooked breakfast and very homely and competent host. We hope to visit again 🙏🏞️♥️

Everything in place as well as exceptionally heart warming breakfast choices with tasty home made bread . The shower is hot and the bathroom is spacious and warm. This place is the best we could ask for . The garden is so pretty and the flowers and plants are so harmoniously cultivated, we took many pictures , and we have already recommended this place to some of our friends if they ever want to visit New Zealand. We are so lucky to have stayed at Bridgehaven Guesthouse and we didn’t want to leave .

It was lovely to have breakfast sorted in the morning. Carmen thoughtfully left a loaf of freshly made bread on the bench and treats in the fridge. The house was amazing, everything you need for a quick get away. And the bed was super comfy.

The host went the extra mile to make the stay brilliant. Little surprise on arrival that they certainly don't need to provide.

Lake Karapiro Lodge offers views of the surrounding countryside and lake. Gourmet breakfast is included. Facilities include free WiFi, an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and sauna. Love the location, the views, the breakfasts and our hosts were great. Great spot. Very comfortable.
