Built in 1865 and restored in 1902, Otira Stagecoach Hotel is situated in the heart of the Arthur's Pass National Park. It offers antiques throughout as well as stagecoaches and horse wagons outside. Bardzo ciekawe i wyjątkowe miejsce. Sympatyczny właściciel kolekcjonuje stare meble, wyposazenie wnętrz i inne drobiazgi, wyposaża w nie swój hotel co powoduje, ze mieszka się w historycznych wnętrzach. Pokoje choć trochę małe umeblowane są w stylu prawie Ludwika XIV :):) Łazienki same w sobie są czynnymi muzeami, można zobaczyć, jak to dawniej ludzie korzystali z takich udogodnień (np. w damskiej toalecie jest zabytkowa wanna). Na parterze obok sali jadalnej dwa pomieszczenia z barkiem, wypełnione róznymi eksponatami, większość wieczoru oglądaliśmy te cudeńka i słuchaliśmy opowieści właściciela. Na piętrze obok pokoi jest również mała sala kominkowa z lodówką i czajnikiem, gdzie można sobie na szybko zrobić śniadanie. Dla wszystkich dostępne jest na parterze od 8.00 podstawowe śniadanie typu płatki i chleb, ale nie korzystaliśmy.

Boasting stunning views of mountains, river and the valley, Bealey Hotel is within a 30-minute drive of 5 ski fields. It offers a restaurant, barbecue facilities and free on-site parking. Room was spacious, very clean and had an amazing view of snow-capped mountains. Beds were luxuriously comfortable. Everything was as new and in immaculate condition. Great for even the fussiest of people. The continental breakfast was much better than expected and included cold meats, cheese and boiled eggs as well as a wide range of cereal, with preserver fruit and yoghurt, not to mention coffee and a choice of several fruit juices.

Pete's Place really is the prettiest little house we have ever seen. The garden is beautiful and lovingly laid out; the interior is surprisingly modern and very tastefully furnished. We were all particularly impressed by the bathroom. The equipment was very good, we had all we needed. Everything is clean and in top condition. In our opinion, Pete's Place is the ideal accommodation for 2-3 people on site.

Set within a stunning historic rainforest and walking track, Jackson's Retreat Alpine Holiday Park offers 5-star accommodation with access to a garden and a barbecue. The park is in a beautiful setting. The bathrooms, showers and communal kitchen/lounge area were all very clean and well-maintained. We were in a cabin that was very comfortable. The nature walk is definitely worth doing and leads to very impressive waterfall.
