The location was incredible! The staff was very friendly. The facilities seemed a bit older, but mostly quite clean.

The Powderhorn Chateau is situated in Ohakune, at the entrance to Tongariro National Park. Love the mulled wine (the best I've ever had in nz). The restaurant was full and the food was amazing, we had seafood chowder, pork ribs, and a burger. The room is spacious and love the idea of providing the electronic blanket.

Located in the Tongariro National Park, The Park Hotel Ruapehu offers affordable accommodation in a stunning alpine setting. Guests are provided with free parking and 500MB of free WiFi. The restaurant and staff were fabulous beyond description. I honestly can’t say I’ve ever been excited to eat every meal where I’m staying.

Snowman Lodge and Spa is centrally located in the town centre of Ohakune which is the gateway to Ski Ruapehu, Turoa, Whakapapa and the famous Tongariro National Park. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel has a Thai restaurant which was outstanding! Location very central.

It was so comfortable, spacious, clean - all was fabulous. We had everything we needed. The host was great. And it was very close to Tongariro Crossing.

Part of a larger house, Frankie & Hugh's is a renovated, self-contained apartment situated in Ohakune, just a 20-minute drive from the Turoa ski field on Mount Ruapehu. The location!! Darling cottage in a beautiful garden. Host is so nice.
