Boasting a shared lounge, bar and views of city, Poshtel is situated in Oamaru, 38 km from Moeraki Boulders. The accommodation features luggage storage space and free WiFi throughout the property. we had an apartment with a separate entry and it was awesome. The character of the place was great, having kept the vault door in the bedroom made it really unique. The decor in the lobby and the historical artefacts of Oamaru was really interesting. The breakfast concept also suited us very well. All in all, it’s a very well designed boutique hotel with very nice and attentive staff. Definitely worth the stop.

Built in 1881, Brydone Hotel Oamaru is located in central Oamaru, within walking distance of the historic town centre. We had one of the heritage rooms, which had recently been refurbished to a high standard. It was huge, and very comfortable, so we were delighted. Location was perfect.

Teschemakers Resort is set on a 70-acre land. The 3-star property is situated in Oamaru. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Fantastic little place with a lot of atmosphere! the room had a lot of space, it was clean and super comfortable. The staff was amazing and welcoming, making us feel at hone, as every request was answered immediately. the internet was slow, but the hotel manager warned us before we even knew that there is a general issue related to the entire area, so it’s not the hotel’s fault. the AC a bit noisy, but it didn’t matter much as this hotel is a gem!

Your boutique accommodation at Moeraki is located opposite the beach and 20 minutes' walk from Moeraki Boulders and cafe. The hostess was excellent with making us feel welcome and the bathroom was the cleanest I have ever seen. It was lovely to interact with the pets . The view was great.

Hot breakfast buffet was the best we had on our trip to New Zealand. Can’t say enough how great the staff was!

Boasting garden views, Century House B & B flatlette features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 35 km from Moeraki Boulders. It was wonderful having a LR to relax in and then go upstairs to bed. Dawn was amazing and made us muffins, pancakes and a yummy fruit mixture to top our pancakes. It is a very homey place and yard has all kinds of beautiful flowers.

Everything was perfect, the location, the room, the breakfast and especially our host Jacqui who makes you feel welcome as soon as you arrive and is extremely knowledgeable! There is no other place to stay in Oamaru that beats this one.
