The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was dedicated parking behind the hotel. The room was very pleasantly furnished and decorated. It was clean and quiet. Check in was smooth. The hotel has a great bar/pub adjoining, where breakfast and dinner was served. It's an old hotel with great routines and processes in place; all in all a professsionally run hotel. It was a great stay.

The Grand Hotel is located in the centre of Wanganui, opposite Cooks Gardens Sporting Complex. It offers free parking. All of the comfortable rooms include modern facilities. The room was awesome. Much better than the last time, lots of natural light aswell so it made the room super warm. Room was lovely I even had a bath. Which was great

The Avenue Hotel is located on Whanganui`s main central city road, only a 10-minute walk from the CBD with plenty of offstreet parking. Breakfast was included in the fee. We had a lovely asian girl serving us. Would just like to say, she made our breakfast experience great. Very prompt and polite service .

Location was great, lovely walk along the river across the road. Very comfortable clean room and bathroom. Little extras in the kitchen for coffee etc.

Beautiful home inside and out! Loved the Rimu floors and ceilings. The hosts are super hospitable and nice. They thought about everything! Their dog Ruby is very friendly also. Such a cutie.
