We love this hotel. This is our second visit and it's just perfect. The service the staff and the facilities - pool to die for! This is the first time we took our teenage kids and they loved it too. We had the toasta mistas for lunch and they were amazing .We will be back!

Surrounded by nature and views of the Algarve coast, Monchique Resort & Spa is situated in the Serra de Monchique and features restaurants, 2 outdoor pools and a variety of Spa experiences. Very friendly and attentive staff. We were given a tour of the facilities when we arrived. They go the extra mile: I lost my reading glasses when I checked out but the staff found them afterwards and contacted me to make arrangements for their return. The spa staff was very attentive, giving us helpful advice. The room was exquisite with two bathrooms, a separate living area and a large bedroom. The kitchen was unexpectedly well equipped with cookware, dishes and appliances including a coffee maker, coffee and a dish washer. It was nice sitting out on the balcony with the gorgeous view of the mountains. There were a lot of activities at the resort even though it was low season when we stayed. The spa and pools are excellent. The restaurant was excellent and the buffet was perfect. The meditation class was excellent.

Situated 1 km from the village of Alte with its whitewashed houses, this hotel features a garden with a pool, and air-conditioned rooms. The staff was amazingly nice, always with a smile and trying to help with everything, both the room and the hotel itself were very clean, the location has a breath taking view and the hotel has a lot of stuff to spend time on or to relax, completely worth repeating
