The resort met all my expectations and I was impressed with my stay. The welcoming was superb. I was offered an upgraded superior room which was super clean and specious with great amenities. The food was what i expected and the indian Chef Mr Vinod did a great job in preparing my vegetarian meal. All staff were super friendly and everything was taken care of. I will definitely return to stay at Virunga Inn.

We found Kinigi Cottage “by accident” while scrolling down in booking, and what an amazing find! Everyone was super nice; the food delicious; a perfect “home away from home”. The rooms is beautiful; spacious; with a beautiful view over the volcanoes on a clear day. The small details like colorful bathrobes; the natural shampoos; a fireplace, make all the difference and we loved it! It was honestly one of our favorite places to stay and we can only recommend it to everyone! We only had one night but wished to stay longer. We will definitely come back once!

The owner, Michael, is also awesome and one of the only Rwandese hotel owners in the area. The views from the premise are also beautiful. Definitely recommend staying here!

Dengan pemandangan gunung, Sambora Kinigi terletak di Kinigi dan mempunyai restoran, khidmat bilik, bar, taman dan teres. Wonderful staff, very friendly, genuine and truly kind people. We felt at home right when we stepped in and were welcomed by amazing dancers from a tribe nearby. We really enjoyed dancing with them all day and all night. Rwanda is a country rich in culture and the accommodation made it a point to actively educate us about that, which we really appreciated. The place is very close to the volcanoes national park, making it easy for monkey and gorilla trekking (just 5 min drive away). We would highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a wonderful and unforgettable experience in the Virunga mountains, in the Northern province of Rwanda.
