Situated in Tösse, 13 km from Åmål Railwaystation, Tössestugan features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Beautiful building! The hotel is run smoothly by a few women who also work in the across-the-road restaurant. Friendly check-in there (I arrived late; restaurant was closing but I could still get some sandwiches). The breakfast in the morning is very good. It is (partly) prepared for you and put in the kitchen where you can come whenever you feel for it in the morning and help yourself. The building itself is a beautiful old mansion, surrounded by (agricultural) fields on three sides. So pretty to have a walk there after breakfast! I ended my stay in the restaurant with a good coffee and Swedish 'kanelbulle', and had a lunch after that. Did not feel like leaving at all!

Situated within 36 km of Åmål Railwaystation in Bengtsfors, Hotell Hemgården features a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Good location on the Dalsland Canal. Close to everything in Bengtsfors.

Situated in Färgelanda, 24 km from Bohusläns Museum, Dagsholm Hotell features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Very clean, spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff, good buffet breakfast and all in a lovely quiet location. Sauna, gym, washing machines and driers.

Located along the Dalsland Canal, this property is less than 5 minutes’ walk from the Håverud Aqueduct. It features an on-site café and shared TV lounge. Beautiful little cottage which has space for even 4 people. We even had a little corner to sit with 2 comfy chairs and a sofa. We had a stunning view over the canal and the lake. Unfortunately we just booked 2 nights... we could have stayed longer. :) Please be aware that you have to bring own bedlinen or you rent it there. The price is reasonable. As well as you clean yourself or you just pay a little fee. But all fine. Thanks once again. We will highly recommend Visitor Stugby and Dalsland. Did you know that alone in Dalsland they have over 2000 lakes.....unbelievable but true.

This hotel is next to the Åmålsån River and green space in central Åmål, only 300 metres from Lake Vänern. It offers free WiFi internet access in all guest rooms. The restaurant have an amazing beer IPA from Amal everyone must try. The staff were truly friendly. And the installation quite good.
