The owner greeted us with a glass of his honey schapps and gave us a great tip for our onward journey - over the pass into Austria! How fab is that?

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lonca - all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great - with few guests at the hotel during the start of the season, we got to order our breakfast in the first few days. As more guests arrived, they switched to a buffet, which also had everything you needed for breakfast. Our personal highlight was the sauna and relaxation area - we could ask to use it a couple of hours in advance, and they turned on the sauna for us. A wonderful stay!

It’s brand new and a lot of thought has gone into everything. Sasa and her family are the ultimate hosts. Lovely room. Local knowledge helped our tourist travels. Anyone thinking of staying in this region should grab one of these rooms if they can!

The perfect combination of a place full of life and yet peaceful. Spectacular views of the mountains from both the restaurant and our private balcony. Set in Škofja Loka, in a historic building, 23 km from Ljubljana Train Station, Apartment Room Old City - Apartment Slavija is a recently renovated homestay with free bikes and garden. The location was great - close to town centre. it was clean, quiet and comfortable. Our hosts Jerry and Dragon were wonderful. They gave us great advice on for our cycling route the next day. We loved having the washing machine and drying racks in the garden to dry our clothes. Kitchen was well stocked.
