From the free shuttle, the friendly staff who recommended us how to explore the place with less climbing walk, for their excellent service making sure their guests have a comfortable stay (making us felt so privileged) and a fantastic experience at Alishan, free tea near lobby area to make sure guests keep them warm, room is spacious and spotless clean, the roof top observation deck is really good (you can see sky clouds, sun set, we even got to see shooting stars) there. Good breakfast and dinner.

Located in Alishan Forest Recreation Area, Alishan Shermuh Tourist Hotel is only a 5-minute walk from the Guanri Railway Station, where guests can take the signature Alishan forest train to explore... One of the more modern hotels in Alishan forest area. Reasonable price. Room is small but functional. Bed is comfortable. Location is good as it is a 10 minute walk to the Alishan train station.

Dafong Hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Alishan Railway Station, where restaurants serving traditional Taiwanese delights reside. It also offers free WiFi access and private parking. The hotel has just renovated this year 2024, so everything is new and clean. The room site was slightly larger than normal hotel room in Taiwan and the bed was comfy. In the toilet, there was an automatic toilet, like Japanese toilet, and they provided 2 large towels, 2 small towels and also a bathroom mat. The staff was helpful.

Comfortable accommodations and an excellent location within Alishan National Forest Park, providing easy access to Alishan's hiking trails and allowing us onsite parking (avoiding the always crowded public parking lot and recurring entrance fees to the park). Good breakfast at nearby restaurant.

The hotel was lovely, with gorgeous blossom trees outside. The staff at reception were so friendly and helpful. We were not sure how to get the train to see the sunset because we had missed the time to get the tickets that day. They explained everything to us and that we could go in the morning, what time to get there, where to buy them from etc. it was really appreciated! The hotel also ran a stargazing tour which was the perfect activity for the evening. We had a great stay here .

The location was amazing, great to be right up in Alishan for when we took the morning training and it was right next to food and shops. Plus, the staff were super friendly and the place was clean. I recommend the firefly tour at night!

Set in Zhongzheng, Chiayi County region, 登山別館 is located 33 km from Jiao Lung Waterfall. The property is non-smoking and is situated 300 metres from Alishan Forest Railway. Breakfast was great. Love the convenience location near stores and restaurants. I love the warm bed & heater. The WiFi was great and TV had many channels / choices. The front desk made sure we had the breakfast tickets. Love the hot / cold water refill fountain.

Set in Alishan Mountain, Maria Hotel a warm and comfortable place to stay in Chiayi. Free WiFi is available in all areas and free parking is provided on site. the staff was accommodating and the room was very cozy. we loved the heated blankets. they made our stay so much more comfortable than the hotel we were staying at in Taipei which didn't any sort of heating.

I am very grateful for everything they did to contribute to my magical stay in the Alishan Township area. Gau Shan Ching also provided the base location for my flawless hike up Yushan in perfect weather and return for rest and relaxation before eventual departure. Awesome, mei li, hen hao from someone who has been on the top of mountains all over thew world. Viva Yushan!
