Most importantly, the owner went above and beyond to help us when we got into a spot of trouble so we felt very taken care of and appreciated that! Would recommend friends stay here.

Crossing The Rainbow Bridge B&B is located in Xiulin. Free cable internet access is available in public areas. Free private parking is available on-site. We had very late arrival and planned to take a taxi from the train station, only to find that there are no taxis at that time. Turned out there was only one car in the parking lot, that of the owner who decided to pick us up!! Couldn't have had a better start ;-) Owner is so very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good and the staff is also very friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. Garden is very nice and the location is so close to the entrance to the Gorge. Again the owner offered to drop us off at the station to rent a scooter (big tip to explore the Gorge). I highly recommend this small family owned hotel

Offering free bikes, Taroko Sialin coffee farm homestay features an extensive area of lush greenery with more than 2000 coffee trees. I don’t think there are enough words to describe our experience at George Coffee Homestay. It’s a beautiful location in the heart of Taroko, perfect if you want to go visit the national park. The hosts are just the most welcoming and warmest people I’ve ever met. They make you feel like home right away and truly go the extra mile to make sure you having a great time by recommending places to eat, trails, and things to visit. They were so kind and though this was not part of their responsibility, they’ve taken time to introduce us to the town, culture of Taroko people, history, traditions and a little bit of their beautiful and unique family story. We finished the night by making our own lucky bracelets which I personally loved and the highlight of the night was them playing a song that Boya wrote to Lisa about their love story. The room is super nice and big, cozy and very clean. The breakfast was delicious every morning and the best part if of course drinking their own coffee. If you’re looking for a place in Taroko, you don’t want to miss out on George Homestay! :)

Hualien Taroko Mountain Dream B&B is located in Hualien, only a 5-minute walk from Taroko National Park. All rooms here will offer beautiful mountain views. Free WiFi access is available. The entire building is simple, spacious and elegant. Our Japanese futon style room is spacious, quiet and comfortable. Bathroom is very spacious too. The host served their home-made yogurt every morning which was very yummy. The breakfast was fresh and filing, wonderful for fueling our day of hiking in the park. The host couple is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is great too. Very close to the park as well as to nearby towns for food and shopping. We loved this place and will go back again.
