Surrounded by tea plantations with views of distant mountains. I spent 4 nights here and had blue sun, misty mornings and night rain. Trails head out direct from homestay. The family are very caring and will pick you up and drop you off on arrival and departure. Also to nearby restaurants. 4 generations live here and they embody the friendliness and hospitality of the Taiwanese people. Comfy bed with electric blanket! Varied vegetarian breakfasts for me! Just go there!

The owner is extraordinarily welcoming and caring, and also makes delicious tea. There’s also a small kitchenette in the common area which is very convenient to store your food & make tea and coffee, etc. The breakfast was tasty and took place on a terrace with mountain and tea plantation views. The property is located next to hiking trails and it’s just such a great walk, we liked it even more than Alishan park.
