I LOVED the shower room, the king sized bed was outstanding to sleep in, and, many thoughtful and quality amenities were provided , including an outdoor fire pit for stargazing. Finding the property and parking were so easy. I felt safe there, although these west Texas towns are rough and hardscrabble. Good privacy. The host was very cordial and responsive. Finally, it’s about as close to the Big Bend National Park entrance as you’ll get if staying outside the park. Enthusiastic 5 stars!

Offering an outdoor pool and free WiFi, Terlingua Ranch Lodge is a 425-acre resort located in Terlingua,Texas, 55 km from Big Bend National Park. The property was so relaxing and quiet although it still had all the amenities like a restaurant with delicious food and the best coffee I’ve ever had. We took our dog and had fun exploring. The pool looked refreshing but it was way too cold to swim. Overall we will definitely return in the future.

Beautiful grounds and really authentic feel. The staff were just the best and really helpful. The area is beautiful and perfect for dark skies and a hop to the national park. There's lots of food options and the deli was well stocked, the restaurant's staff were just lovely and they had a great selection of wine. There's enough on the site to keep you entertained during rainy days and the morning coffee is brilliant.
