What a perfect place to stay. Rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable the breakfast was more than i expected but the best thing was the reception we received. What a lovely people. Surrounded by gardens and palm trees, the San Simeon Lodge has an outdoor heated pool and deck seating, along with rooms with a view of the Pacific Ocean one block away. Beautiful hotel with comfortable, clean and big rooms. Super close to Hearst Castle (it was still close during our stay) but it's a great place to stay if you are considering a visit or just coming down Highway 1.

Situated along the San Simeon Bay coast, Pacific Coast Roadhouse Hotel; SureStay Collection by Best Western is only 10 minutes' drive to Hearst Castle. The location of this property is the gateway to Big Sur. The price for what you get is appreciated and an excellent value. The folks that are in charge here really care about the property and are trying to offer you an enjoyable experience. I enjoyed the clean, spacious rooms and very comfortable bed. The coffee in the office is wonderful.

Located within walking distance of the Pacific Ocean and beaches, this San Simeon motel features a heated indoor pool and hot tub. Guest rooms offer cable TV and free Wi-Fi. Great place right on highway 1, clean and affordable. The spa was a great addition.

The Quality Inn hotel is located just two miles from Hearst Castle, a Moorish castle with 127 acres of gardens, terraces, pools and walkways, furnished with Spanish and Italian antiques and art. Edward, the front desk manager, made our stay very enjoyable, and we felt right at home. We appreciate the rich breakfast and snacks with hot drinks that were available all throughout our stay. Overall, it was a great value for what we paid.

Across the street from the ocean, this 100% non-smoking San Simeon offers on-site dining and an outdoor pool. All air-conditioned rooms feature cable TV with extended channels. Ideally located a short walk to the ocean with beautiful walking paths, rooms are very spacious, a nice restaurant in the same building, a perfect place to spend a night on the way along the Pacific highway.
