Everything was excellent. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights from January 25th to January 28th. We were welcomed very warmly. Host helped us organize a morning safari and packed a delicious and hearty breakfast to take with us. When we encountered issues with organizing an evening safari that we were handling independently, the owner promptly resolved our problem. Each evening featured an amazing dinner, and we were thrilled. The rooms are very spacious, beds are comfortable, and the shower has good pressure with warm water. The room had a view of the river, where wild animals frequently visited. The owner offered us binoculars, making the wildlife observation by the river even more interesting.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They made us feel right at home. The room was great - we loved the outdoor shower! And the boma for dinner - just magical. They had everything set up beautifully for our 2-yr-old twins - down to the blankets in their cribs. The twins loved the blankets so much they wanted to take them home with us!

Our guided safari with them was amazing and we felt their expertise and passion made our experience so memorable. We have stayed in several lodges and quest houses and we still rate theirs the most highly rated. The lodge, location, food and hosts will remain our favourite and most memorable. Foxy Crocodile Bush Retreat & Kruger Safari's is an off-grid eco-lodge situated in Marloth Park, 50 metres from the Crocodile River. Probably the best decision we made on our trip was to stay with the folks at Foxy Crocodile. Located near the Crocodile Bridge entrance of the Kruger National Park, it is inside the private Marloth Park. The apartment was very spacious and clean. The best part of the stay was definitely the friendliness of the staff. This place is well-equipped for load shedding as it runs on solar, and we were never bothered by the scheduled power outages. If you stay, do book the half board, where we had some delicious meals, including the best T-bone steak we've ever eaten. They organize safaris, which were really comfortable, and we were lucky as we had the whole vehicle to ourselves. Book it, and you won't regret it. We will return here when we come back to Kruger national park.
