Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Kaiseki dinner was very delicious! And served on time. Private bath also very clean and comfortable. Public bath onsen really big and has very nice view of mt. fuji. Great service to have pick up shuttle from hotel to kawaguchiko terminal. Definetly will come back.

All the facilities, the dinner and the lunch are exceptional. Highly recommended! Plus all the stuff are very polite, kind and generous. I will definitely come back! Don't forget to visit the onsen at the four floor! I will keep the view forever in my heart!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Quite area and nice location and a remarkable place to stay

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Mitsubikiya features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. The air-conditioned accommodation is 800 metres from Matsumoto Station. Great place with a mix of traditional and modern facilities. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Traditional Japanese breakfast included. Conveniently located, few minutes walk from the main station and Matsumoto castle.

Located in Oshino and only 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland, 八海 木花館 provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Dinner and breakfast are exceptional. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Very private and secluded area which is perfect.

Located in Fujikawaguchiko and only 1.5 km from Lake Kawaguchi, Ryokan Fuji Heights provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. A hot tub is available for guests. Location was central to the main attraction of Kawaguchiko lake where you could go for a (long) walk there, bike there, or even bus there. The owner even offered e-bike rentals early morning that let me catch the sunrise, and it was one of the best travel moments I've had. He was so helpful with sightseeing advice and we were able to communicate using translation apps. Traditional Japanese house, spacious rooms, lots of quiet, and centrally located to convenience stores, a large supermarket with cheap bento boxes, and less touristed restaurants. Luggage storage is available before and after check in.

Boasting mountain views, Private Hotel Rei features accommodation with terrace, around 7.1 km from Lake Kawaguchi. The dinner we paid for additionally was awesome (a 6-course dinner). The breakfast was also very good. Everything was cooked by the host himself - Yoshi. He appeared to be a very nice guy. He was very kind to us. He explained to us many interesting things and gave us a ride in his car on the day we left. He showed us some pretty good spots to take a picture with the Sakura trees and Mount Fuji. The whole stay there was one not to forget. Absolutely recommend staying there!

Located 47 km from The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum, Kamikochi Nishi-itoya Mountain lodge offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a shared lounge. It's a beautiful ryokan. We got a room facing the river. The view from the balcony was totally chill n relaxing! Love it. I would stay here again for the view.

Located just a minute's walk from Kawaguchiko Lake, Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel offers accommodation in Fujikawaguchiko, near Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge. Super friendly staff, amazing view, nice view from the room and the onsen was great as well.

Located in the historical Shibu Onsen district, 渋温泉小石屋旅館 offers both private and dormitory-style guest rooms as well as an on-site restaurant where local dishes, wines and craft beers are available. The staff were so nice. The free shuttle to the snow monkeys. Good coffee.
