Kamikochi Nishi-itoya Mountain lodge ligger 47 km fra Japan Ukiyo-e Museum og tilbyder indkvartering med balkon samt have og fælles opholdsstue. It's a beautiful ryokan. We got a room facing the river. The view from the balcony was totally chill n relaxing! Love it. I would stay here again for the view.

Located in the historical Shibu Onsen district, 渋温泉小石屋旅館 offers both private and dormitory-style guest rooms as well as an on-site restaurant where local dishes, wines and craft beers are available. Great location at the heart of ryokan alley, very hospitable hosts that can shuttle you from the Yudanaka Station to their place free of charge (prior reservation needed), nice cozy restaurant with kotatsu (very relevant when it is cold), comfortable ryokan with lots of space and a gas heater. The host was shinning and always smiling, it gave us good mood for two days. Also she helped us out with the reservation for the onsen and gave us a ride to that place and brought us back in an hour. Shibu Onsen Koishiya Ryokan are the best and we will definitely stay here if we ever come back to Japan again. ps we also left some chocolate from our country and asked them to pin it on their big wall in their cafe. we hope you liked the chocolate!

Hotel Fuki no Mori ligger 20 minutters kørsel fra JR Nagiso Station med hotellets gratis transport. Gæsterne kan gå tur i haven eller i de naturskønne områder omkring hotellet. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful with a mix of interesting and tasty food. It looked beautiful too. The onsen was amazing with wonderful facilities. We particularly enjoyed the outside onsen in the early morning. We paid for an evening meal( there was nowhere else to go anyway) and it was wonderful. Such interesting and beautifully presented food. Our waiter explained what everything was.

Yorozuya ligger 7 minutters gang fra Yudanaka Station og byder på varme kilder, spabad samt værelser i japansk stil med egen terrasse og eget badeværelse. A true ryokan experience with an exceptional food service. This heritage building is well-kept, dignified, and an absolute delight. There was no need to leave the building to have a satisfying bath—indoor or outdoor. I loved the private bath, and the overall tradition of the ryokan. The staff was so accommodating of our late check-in, took care to deliver our luggage to the station while we go to the Snow Monkey Park, and were attentive to our needs.

Oshi Ryokan ligger blot 5 minutters gang fra den historiske Togakushi-helligdom og tilbyder traditionel indkvartering i det fredelige bjergområde, der brugte til pilgrimme. Our short stay was absolutely delightful! The hosts were so kind and welcoming and the ryokan was beautiful inside and out. Our room was very comfortable and peaceful - the perfect place to relax after exploring Togakushi. We had both dinner and breakfast and would highly recommend - some of the most delicious and memorable food of our trip!

Kadowakikan ligger 3 minutters gang fra skisportsstedet Nozawa Onsen og tilbyder ski til dør-adgang, varmt kildebad og gratis wi-fi. I enjoyed everything about this stay. The room was very cozy, and their was an onsen inside the guest house as well. The main thing I wanna point out is the service - Kadowaki-san was such a fantastic host, helping with gear rental, recommendations, and general inquiries. It was very nice to talk to as well and very efficient with Google Translator :D. I was in Japan for 2 weeks, and this was by ease the best place I stayed at. Will definitely be back to this place and highly recommend it.

Tawaraya ligger 5 minutters gang fra Yudanaka Station og tilbyder indkvartering i japansk stil med gratis WiFi og fladskærms-tv. I opted for the Kaiseki meal with my stay and it was largely very good. The room was comfortable and clean, and the location was very central to the station and bus stops to attractions like the Monkey Park. Staff were helpful and attentive, and the outdoor hot spring bath was beautiful and well maintained. It was on the pricier side but the value was also high.

Absolutely beautiful. Very traditional building with lots of space in the rooms. The staff were incredibly accommodating and drove us to and from the station when we checked in and checked out.
