I booked this accommodation for my parents who were visiting Scotland for the first time. The location of this place is so central that it became very easy for them to travel around the city without using taxis. The staff was very courteous and helped them with whatever they needed.

The Witchery by the Castle offers a range of opulent suites in Edinburgh, each one unique with its own special features. The Armoury is like an entire apartment with everything one can wish for. There is a coffee machine and new bottles of water delivered every day. Breakfast is in the restaurant or can be delivered to the room. The bathroom has underfloor heating. The location is great right next to the Castle and the Royal Mile.

Just metres from Holyrood Park, Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood features an award-winning restaurant and spa. With Edinburgh Castle just a mile away, guests have free WiFi access and large rooms. Very large king room. Shower head was great. Didn't know there was a large indoor pool/sauna/spa when I booked, and they were wonderful. Large variety at breakfast. £18 if not prebooked, £12 if prebooked. Katie, Donald, and David at the front desk were very helpful with all details and a wealth of local information and suggestions for attractions/dining. It is one block off The Royal Mile, quiet at night for good sleep.

Quite central. I love the roof deck. The view was spectacular! I love the little touches in the room, with Tunnock's caramel bars, the room size and interior was superb, bed was comfortable.

Excellent hotel. Iit is more like a 4 star hotel with a very cosy decoration and very good location.

Cosy, convenient and super chic, the 4-star Apex City of Edinburgh Hotel has rooms with extraordinary views and is designed for special stays. I loved everything. The room was spacious, and the hotel was in a very good location. It is surrounded by many restaurants and coffee shops. All is reachable within walking distance.

Overlooking Carlton Hill, Princes Street Gardens and Waverley Station, the 4-star Scotsman Hotel was originally built in 1905. This majestic, listed building was once The Scotsman newspaper. Everything! The location, the kindness and care of the staff, the room, the facilities.. absolutely everything
