My name is Jo, I live in Cornwall on the south coast. I bought Nook Cottage after having life changing cancer and treatment, I needed a new focus in life. A year was spent lovingly renovating Nook Cottage ready to share with you. The turquoise sea and golden sand of Porth beach is situated right at the end of the lane. Sea swimming and costal walks are my passion alongside visiting the many local restaurants with their rich variety of locally caught seafood. I hope you love it as much as I do.

Staying at Nook Cottage you are blessed with places to explore, only a short walk to Porth Beach at the end of the lane which is fantastic for swimming and has its own Pub on the beach. Nearby beaches are Whipsiderry, Lusty Glaze and Watergate Bay itself famous for The National Surfing Championships. In easy reach are Tolcarne Beach, Fistral Beach and The Great Western Beach. Nook Cottage is situated a short 10 minute drive from Newquay Train Station and Airport. Taxis can be booked. The 56 First Bus Service from the Airport or The Great Western in Newquay Town drops off at Porth Beach. Check the bus timetable for your connecting journey on firstbus
