My room was good-sized, a nice change from the many single ones that I have had on my trip. It was quite modern and comfortable. The hotel's location was good for enjoying the lovely town of Bellinzona, although it was perhaps a few minutes walk longer for walking to the train station. Entry to the hotel was a bit confusing as you must take the elevator, and the hotel reception is not marked as such. It is the restaurant terrace. The hotel clerk was helpful although we had to conduct our business in French. He arranged an early breakfast and a taxi to the station.

The location was okay, not far from a major parking lot and city center. The property is dog-friendly - they gave us a welcoming pack for our furry member of the family. That was nice.

I loved everything! Upon arrival, the girl at reception welcomed us with a huge smile! Very friendly and attentive. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable and very clean. Very good breakfast.
