Surrounded in peace, the location is ten out of ten, the owners have given thought to the layout extremely well and set up a most perfect stay for their guests. Brilliant non intrusive breakfast delivered to your kitchen with quality food including wonderful hot bacon rolls if preferred to croissants and jam. One of the most perfectly relaxing and well equipped properties we've ever stayed in. Comfy beds, spacious living area it felt like you were in your own house, it was a pure delight for us. What a gorgeous spot! The room was comfy and good value for a short break. Glorious bed and a modern, clean bathroom. The toilet roll art was a thing of beauty!

Love cozy room. Single bed was quite big. Complementary snacks on arrival in the room were great. The breakfasts were amazing and staff were friendly. David the owner has made a great effort with farm to folk ethos at the hotel. The apple juice was from his farm.

pencombe is very remote, down tiny country lanes, non confident drivers may find this an issue.
however if you can cope with this the sceenery is great. not much to do in pencombe but very near to major towns,plenty to go and visit within a shortish drive.
