Edda provided us everything we needed and gave all the tourist tips for Bad Gastein and the surrounding area, organized everything with great care and prepared an incredible breakfast every day. The breakfast was a standard one but was was just enough. The location is excellent - within walking distance from Liechtensteinklamm and the cabin lift to Geisterberg. One could also make a few short bike tours to Salzach or St. Johann im Pongau. The hotel has it's own biotop lake and a bike storage room. My daughter especially enjoyed the free horse riding hour every day!

The hotel breakfast was excellent, plenty of quality food, for all taste. The staff was extremely polite, always asking if everything was ok, trying to satisfy all your needs. Dinner was also outstanding food quality and presentation, with discrete fine-dinning touches. Congrats to the chef! The reception staff was also very friendly, giving us all the necessary information we needed for ours stay and they were extremely efficient on the last morning when we did the check-out. As an improvement, maybe the receptionist should state it more clearly how to get to the hotel ski room without using the main entrance in the hotel. We had to figure this out by ourselves following other tourists in the hotel, but it was fun for us to find this trick that we will use next time :)
