The room with an awesome view to the vineyard nearby, the breakfast was super delicious with homemade bakery and a very tasty omelette. The Villa San Lucchese is an amazing place to rest and is very close to Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra and have the very Tuscan atmosphere. The restaurant is a must to try. We stayed there for 3 nights and truly appreciated.

Where do I start? I really want to come back and stay for ever. The staff is amazing, we asked them about recommendations and help with planning our days and they made everything so so easy. The surroundings are breathtaking and you have everything you need witihin a 15minute car ride. You wake up to the sound of birds and the views are stunning from the Hotel! The hotel restaurant is a must, the food and the service is outstanding. Breakfast is also amazing, a big variety of things out but you can also order some more stuff. There is a beautiful pool but the weather wasn’t on our side while we were there so we couldn’t enjoy it. I am definitely coming back soon!

Hotel Pescille is set in an old farmhouse in the Tuscan countryside, 5 minutes' drive from San Gimignano. It offers a large garden with swimming pool, and free parking. The view was spectacular of San Gimignano along with the facilities. It was impeccable and clean. What took it to the next level was the service and property. The breakfast was a wonderful spread every morning and the coffee was excellent. It’s so calm and peaceful and not far from other towns such as Siena for a day visit.

Fabulous small hotel in the centre of Colle Val D’Elsa. Our room was gorgeous, spotlessly clean and had a stunning view of the Tuscan countryside. The owner, Pietro, was simply wonderful, and made us so welcome, even making us coffee and tea upon check in and booking a fantastic restaurant (ask him where to find the best steak). Breakfast was amazing, especially the scrambled eggs and salami, be sure to order that.

The hotel is located at the beginning/on top of the old town of Colle di val d’Elsa - a great spot to start your evening walk. He was so kind, helped us with recommendations and made reservation phone call for a restaurant for us! He speaks English and Italian and he has so much patience. Additionally, he knew we were in honeymoon and he did everything to make us happy, including going personally to our room before we arrived and putting a cold bottle of wine for us. Our staying was amazing thanks to him.

Breakfast was fantastic. We slept wonderfully. We were walking the Via Francigena and their laundry service completed everything very quickly. The dinner was excellent. The Staff were fantastic. Despite the relatively high cost, this location ranked 4th overall of the 20 nights of the Via Francigena walk.

This type of things are part of the perfect Italian Hospitality and are priceless! Il Poggio is heavenly. The houses are beautifully scattered across the huge property, each with a space outside to enjoy the stunning nature. The owners are kind, friendly and so thoughtful. The four of us (we have 2 girls) loved spending days there without the need to leave elsewhere at all. We played basketball, bocce, tennis, used the swimming pool every single day. The highlight was the view from the window, all the vinyards & the sunsets. Our girls asked if we could live there forever. It was the most relaxing, soul-enriching holiday. The owners welcomed us with wine, coffee, pasta. What a nice touch that we did not have to look for food after arriving. The coffee moka meant so much to a big coffee drinker like me. We saw beautiful nearby Tuscan towns & found brilliant local restaurants nearby & also had a beautiful dinner at il Poggio one evening. Bruna, the kindest, friendliest local dog, made my daughters’ stay unforgettable. We are definitely coming back.
